I really enjoy these brushes. At first, I didn't think these were going to be all the great but they are. They're very soft and make applying makeup easy. I love the angled eyeshadow brushes, as well as the angled blush brush to contour. Every brush I would say can be used for multiple things. I use the big round (powder/brush) one to buff out my foundation or use it to apply powder. I also use the small round brush to blend under eye concealer.
How these brushes can be used;
1. Foundation brush
Smooth foundation application. Apply liquid or cream products such as foundation and primer.
2. Powder brush
Even powder application. Uniform blending of powder products onto the face and body.
3. Angled contour
Use the angle to softly contour the cheekbone. Can also be used to apply blush.
4. Short shader
Apply color onto small areas of the eye such as the outer eyelid. Also use to smudge the lower lash line.
5. Angled shading
Great for applying shadow or highlighters to the brow bone or shadows softly to the lid.
6. Angled brow
This brush can be used to outline, color, and correct the shape of brows.
7. The shape of this brush allows for the precise and controlled application of lip color for an even and professional finish.
You could do a full face of makeup and not use any other brush! I've only washed them 1 time, and no bristles have fallen out. I really like that they are labeled, very helpful for new users.
If you're looking for a starter set, this is a real good one. I plan on purchasing more brushes as Christmas gifts. I would recommend this product to anyone who uses makeup. Great for traveling as well, as they came with a free beautiful case.
